Conservative dentistry is a branch of dentistry that deals with the treatment of teeth damaged by caries.
In our dental practice, we use only materials and technologies that allow us to achieve the best results. As one of the methods in endodontic therapy diagnostics, we use RVG digital radiography, with the aim of determining the length of the root canal so that the tooth can be repaired.
Until recently, materials such as silver amalgam (black filling) were used for this type of work.
Fortunately, today we have a more aesthetically pleasing material – composite, which, with an unlimited number of color shades and minimal tooth preparation, allows for a color that matches the patient’s natural teeth. Composite blends seamlessly into the natural tooth and makes the presence of the filling almost invisible. Also, unlike amalgam, composite does not contain metals such as mercury, lead, silver, etc., which can be harmful to health.
