Endodontics

Endodontics is a branch of dental medicine that deals with diseases and treatment of various inflammations of the root canals of teeth.

Endodontic treatment makes it possible to save a damaged tooth after trauma or decay. If the caries is not repaired in time, an infection occurs, i.e. inflammation of the dental nerve (pulpitis).

Endodontics is a dental treatment that involves removing damaged tissue from inside the tooth, cleaning the root canals (dental nerve), and then filling that space with an adequate filling.

Dental treatment and conservative restoration with a filling are often performed in just one visit.

Endodontics is not a painful treatment, only in some cases the treated tooth may remain slightly sensitive, which can be eliminated by the use of analgesics for several hours.
